Scholarship Update
2 scholarships were given, $500/ea. One to a MHS student and one to a CHS student.
Will give more of an update at the meeting.
2017 Upcoming Events
Nano Arts Festival
July 29th – Wine Girls Wines
• Will start advertising and getting vendors asap.
• Flyers will start being dispersed by June 19th.
• This is a free venue!
• Will also be doing a raffle to raise money for the LCAA Scholarship fund.
(This was super successful event a few years ago!)
Barrels of Art
• This would be a one day event to decorate the barrels at a specific winery.
• We are still working on the details with this winery and will have more info at the meeting.
Creative Arts Festival
August 19 – 20, 2017
• Saturday 10am – 5pm
• Sunday 9am to 4pm
Will start getting the word out for vendors soon. (Possibly a triple booth?)
Holiday Bazaar
• November or December
• We have already been in contact with Campbell’s, who has quoted us prices and dates to
go over. Will try to solidify a date at the meeting.
• Will be doing the Gala Friday evening 6-8pm
• Raffle to raise money for the Scholarship fund. Throwing around ideas to raise money
for the Food Bank again as well.
Small Town Christmas
December 16th, 11am-1pm
• Last year we did crafts with kids, card making.
More details to come as the event draws closer.
